Just Groove It Now

I think i said a while ago that it's hard to find good fidget.. Weather it's cos I'm looking in the wrong place or maybe i just don't appreciate the real definition of 'good fidget' i still rarely come across stuff i like. There's plenty of sick dubstep going round..? Anyway, more to the point, I found something I can't stop listening to. And guess what.. It's fidget! Really jazzy bouncy fidget. I guess there is still good stuff out there somewhere! And in the crispiest of crispy 320's :)

Why So Serious?

I've been listening to this song a lot recently. And i've had it going round on repeat in my head non-stop. Not that I'm complaining.. I'm gonna say it's not the 'usual' Joker. More chilled out and.. 'Nice'...? I love it. Great vocals from Turboweekend, although I definitely prefer the Joker version! Click the download link!

Turboweekend - Trouble Is (Joker Remix) (192k, sorry..!)

PARIAH

Pariah is/are someone I can gather pretty much nuffin about, but these two remixes have got some flair, first on the Goulding with unbelievably well produced dubstep then giving The xx (sick band, listen to Fantasy (via the fattest subwoofer you can find) NOW) a 7am wind-down feel. Only thing I know about Pariah is that they're from London, and signed to R&S Records. Bask in the knowledge.

The xx - Basic Space (Pariah Remix)

is this a wordsearch?

I honestly don't think I've been this excited about posting a song in the entire history of FTD. DZ's paired up with a little known dubstep producer, NTRLD (Brapdem Recordings/Double Drop Records) from San Francisco, for this one. A load of DZ shit's hit the fan recently but this is the only one you really NEED. It's bass like this that keeps me makes me forget other music genres exist. Credit to Major Lazer for the original too, get that entire album, you've probs been told enough times but it's something special. I've thrown in another dubstep take on In For the Kill. Yeah I know that song's 'so last year', but they were giving away for free on their Facebook page and it's a pretty solid effort, even if it is the same style as Skream's. Tek-Step have released on Double Drop Records too.

Major Lazer - Keep It Goin Louder (DZ vs. NTRLD Remix)
La Roux - In For The Kill (Tek-Step Remix)

Get more DZ for your money here. And live Major Lazer here if your about Leeds.

As promised

Coeur De Pirate - Comme Des Enfants (Le Matos Andy Carmichael Remix)

We have a few treats coming up in the next couple of weeks including some exclusive mixes so keep checking back, but for now, here's the new Zomby.

Proper Gayfish!

kanye-gay-fish-600x398

Here's a crazy ass song from Ganja White Knight.

Enjoy

Ganja White Knight - Gayfish

Damn girl.

This is neither bass driven, or dance music. It's just a really nice cover of Sexy Bitch.
Something to listen to early in the morning :).

P.s. Check out the Mumford & Sons cover of Calvin Harris' Not Alone, thats also good.

Emalkay DOA

Emalkay's (Dub Police) mix for DOA forum, the best mix I've heard in a while. Click the link for interview and download link.

Why are pirates pirates? Because they ARGHHHH

I've not heard anything from Pirate Soundsystem for a while. Maybe it's because i haven't looked for it, or because I'm more into dubstep than fidget/electro nowadays.. I don't know.. Just found this in my iTunes though. And i like it.. Pretty monotonous bassline but good. I have nothing more to say.. Just listen.

Pirate Soundsystem - Get Your Heads Out

There's been a particular lack of posts recently, not been one for over a week now. I can only appologise.. I don't know what everyone's been doing but they seem to all be too busy to post..! I think there's been a lack of postable stuff to be honest.. We'll get more out to you soon.
For now, here's a bouns for sticking with us through the drought!

Kid Sister Ft. Estelle - Steppin (Rusko Remix)

Je t'aime

Just got back from an incredible weekend in Edinburgh, at the 'British University Dry Slope Championships', with the Nottingham University freestyle team. I am now exhausted though as I have had 10 hours sleep since Thursday morning and every part of my body aches.

This song's been on repeat in the van all weekend and it's the perfect Sunday evening song.

I will upload the actual 320kbps version in the next couple of days but for now, enjoy.

in our house made of paper, your words all over me

An apology from FTD

Things seem to have slowed down a lot recently on FTD. So i'd like to make an apology. Sorry, I will try speed things up on the posting front.

Right, now that's out of the way.. I've got something for you all. Raffertie needs no introduction to be honest. He's been around since the start of time and never fails to impress. This song (which i found on ORlyTuffGuy (Thanks!)) is WILD. It's so messy but so fucking good. As usual in Raffertie's produce there's a million things going on at the same time. I don't know where he gets all his sound effects from but i want them. Listen to this loud. It's fucking filthy!

Raffertie - Wobble Horror! (128k)

Angerstep

Must be a first. Dubstep taking on hardcore/deathcore/screams and guitars. I like boundaries being broken. And I love this song, Tek-One went all out to bring the filth and still keep that hardcore feel. Time to mosh the fuck out.

Bring Me the Horizon - Sleep With One Eye Open (Tek-One Remix)

Bonus:
Crookers on a dubstep tip.

Crookers ft. Kelis - No Security
