Has it been that long?!
Apologies to those of you who keep up to date with what we post.. It's been a while, to say the least! It seems everything has slowed down a lot over the Christmas season.. I've noticed a few other blogs haven't posted much recently.. Still, that gives us here at FTD no excuse. We made you a promise, to supply you with, and i quote "regular doses of bass". This clearly has not been the case recently. We have discussed this between us and can I assure you the new year will bring you more new music than ever before.
This song isn't particularly new, just fucking good.

Snow Day
When Tel Aviv's Asaf Borger isn't drumming for death metal band Shabira he's making some heavy, heavy dubstep. I'm pretty excited about these two tracks at the moment in particular Guided Relaxation Dub, which is one of the best tracks I've heard in ages and as usual it is made perfectly clear that Britney Spears sounds far better remixed.
When somebody remixes what is already a really good track it can either ruin it completely or add something entirely new to it. This remix gives the original a slightly more digitalised feeling, providing some forward thinking grimey futuristic dubstep, with more than a touch of personality. Check out the original as well.
Something a little bit different, but I dare you to listen to this track and not feel like throwing some shapes.
Riva Starr - I Was Drunk ft. Noze (Original Mix)
Not a fan of Eric Prydz normally but this Sax Re-Edit is pretty sick.
Head over to the Mad Decent blog to pick up this fat remix of The Party Squad's Murderer by Diplo and Jayou. As you can imagine, with Diplo involved it's going to be pretty good but Jayou's also one of the best DJ's around at the moment and worth keeping an eye on. If your Leeds based Jayou will be up in February to play Creep! @ Wire (more information in the near future).
Well, I think that gives me a few days off and makes up for a lack of posting.
Enjoy.

back from the blip
So, you haven't seen anything new on these pages in a bad two weeks. It's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks for the four of us (college/uni work, djing, producing, organising, sleeping, inventing chemicals, saving the world - that kind of stuff) and Mike's inability to host any mp3's anywhere on his halls' ISP doesn't help. You shouldn't accept this excuse though, and the only way we can make it upto you is giving you all some fresh, heavy-hitting mp3's. We begin after the jump...
