back from the blip

So, you haven't seen anything new on these pages in a bad two weeks. It's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks for the four of us (college/uni work, djing, producing, organising, sleeping, inventing chemicals, saving the world - that kind of stuff) and Mike's inability to host any mp3's anywhere on his halls' ISP doesn't help. You shouldn't accept this excuse though, and the only way we can make it upto you is giving you all some fresh, heavy-hitting mp3's. We begin after the jump...

You've heard these two played out by everyone, from Jack Beats to Rusko to Skepta and back again. It's because they're fucking huge. Get grimey or die.

A bit of an old(ish - in blog terms anyway) dub now. Flux Pavillion & Trolley Snatcha released this back in March along with 'Steppa' as the B-side. Both producers have risen and risen since then with Flux P collaborating with Doctor P & Datsik and I don't think I've listened to a dubstep mix without a Snatcha track in for a loooong time. Genius sampling on this one.

Some fresh fidget now, the much anticipated release from Lee Mortimer & Laidback Luke finally dropped last week, and to celebrate we're giving you a 128kbps version (what? we're not gonna completely rip off two of the biggest producers in the game, go buy it if you're desperate for a 320!).

You might remember Rico Tubbs' 'Gangsters' track ("Where dem gangster's, where dem dimes at?") from back in 2008 because it was a beast. Well now you can remember him by this one instead, the man takes Rhythm is a Dancer to a level that Thunderbirds advert never could. Phil Dolman (one half of Bass Weazal - r.i.p/Punk Rolla) alerted me to this one at a house party us and him dj'd a couple of nights back!

Hope this has cheered you lot up a bit (it definitely has me) and look forward to more posting on a regular again!
