Pure Filth.

I've not posted for a while, although I have been hearing some seriously good songs recently! Me and Chris have been at a mate's free house last week and done nothing but play Xbox and get high.

As you may have noticed, we here at followthedark really enjoy music that speakers hate! Which is exactly what the next two songs i have for you are. They're going to make your speakers cry but I'm hoping you'll love them. I can't stop listening to them (Except the speakers on my laptop don't work and i don't know why.. :/ ).
This first one has some seriously filthy bass lines in it accompanied by a lovely ladies voice. You'll see what i mean when you download it.. Also a coming together of Caspa and Rusko again, which can never be a bad thing!

Caspa & Rusko - Power Shower

The second song actually sounds quite similar to Power Shower; strong dubstep beat, riddiculously dirty basslines. I've not heard much Dub Crookz stuff but they've really turned my head with this. Be on the look out for more from them!

Dub Crookz - Horn Peddla

Muhammed Im'ard Bruce Lee

Serious lack of posts recently. Mike's somewhere across Europe at the moment, not really sure where right now but come Thursday I know he'll be in Belgium at Pukkelpop (a music festival with an absolutely ridiculous line-up) ! So he'll be getting to go see the likes of Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots, The Count & Sinden, Rusko, Skream + Benga, along with 50 Cent (haha), N.E.R.D and a bit of Arctic Monkeys, Kraftwerk, The Offspring and My Bloody Valentine thrown in. Foreign festivals just seem to have no boundaries, I love it. Ollie's just getting back from Sziget in Budapest in the next few days aswell - look how cultured we are, haha !

But anyway, here's some fresh mp3's to make up for the lack of posts recently (yet again):

Jack Beats' are still killing it. Here's them killing La Roux and rearranging Florence's machine. Bouncy as fuck as always.

La Roux - I'm Not Your Toy (Jack Beats Remix)
Florence and The Machine - Drumming Song (Jack Beats Remix - radio rip)

I'm not that into all the tribal house/funky stuff that seems to be coming out at the moment, but L-Vis 1990's stuff intrigues me, it seems so tuneful and delicate and makes a pretty nice change from the

Riton & Primary 1 - Who's There? (L-Vis 1990 Remix)

I'm sure a lot of you have already grabbed this next one somewhere else. Boat = missed.

The Streets - In The Middle (Nero Remix)

A pretty old Caspa tune I've pretty much rinsed dry now, haha . And some pure, chilled out dubstep from Distinction, a dubstep DJ/Producer from here in Leeds, and a Dub Police member along with Rusko, Caspa, Subscape and more. Floetry's probably the best word to describe this song actually.

Caspa - Well 'Ard
Floetry - Say Yes (Distinction Remix)

And some new Lee Mortimer to finish yer's off.

Lee Mortimer ft. MC Flipside - That Thing (Vocal Mix)

We're Going Deep, And We're Going Hard

By deep I mean really fucking deep bass.
I don't know a lot about Kitch 'n Sync, but what i do know is their bass-heavy music will blow you away! It did me.

THIS JUST IN

Most, if not all of you, will have heard of The Loose Cannons. They're pretty big. They're DJs, producers, song writers, and play all kinds of instruments in they're band. Whatever they're doing, they're always known as Kaiser Saucy & Lord Fader, AKA; The Loose Cannons. I went to see them at a Filth, Mint Club in Leeds one night about a year ago and they pretty much inspired me to start DJing. If you ever get the chance to see them, I'm asking you to go. They're amazing on stage and pretty cool off if you get a chance to talk to them.
Back to the big news anyway. You may already know that The Loose Cannons don't have a great deal of songs. They have a few but not loads. Everytime i hear of one of their songs I'm always excited to listen to it. As you can imagine when a guy added me on Facebook asking me to post some of The Loose Cannons' brand spankers (coming out on Government Records) i couldn't say no.. In true Loose Cannons style they're still fidgety, bouncy songs and really quite catchy. I strongly recommend you download them.

Mystikal - Shake Ya Ass (Loose Cannons' Booty Re-Slap)
Boy 8-Bit - Wolfen (Loose Cannons' Howl At The Moon Mix)

Bonus:
The guy who sent me the songs also sent me another song (I think it's his own work, i didn't quite understand). It's really not bad either, worth a listen:

Cheeks - S'tisfaction (Trashcan DJs Mix) UNMASTERED

Have Fun!

More?!

He seems to be pulling them out of his arse now. Foamo just can't be stopped. At the rate he's going he'll be president in a week. Well, maybe not.. But he's fucking good at making music! Two more songs from him i found last night. Still in-keeping with the 'traditional' Foamo bass sounds and jumpy rythms.
Definately worth a listen! You won't regret it!

Kidbass - Goodgirls Love Rudeboys (Foamo Remix)
Dub Pistols - I'm In Love (Foamo Remix)

Don't know what the picture was about, Chris was showing me the 'National Beard and Moustache Competitions' pictures. I think they're somewhere on the BBC website if you're interested haha. This guy looks like he's probably Dutch; windmill, beard-spliff..
