Rusko - Da Cali Anthem

The darker side of switch

Here's a tasty remix of Bjork's 'Nattura' by Switch. Never really see this side of switch unless its when he's spinning for Major Lazer. We like it.

Bjork - Nattura(Switch Remix)

Here's another one for you guys, its only a rip from the Major Lazer Essential Mix, good none the less.

Switch - Mash Up De Place

Little Dragon

This is the first song in a while that has compelled me to post.

There isn't much that could be added to this song to make it much better but 16bit manage to put a beat to it without causing any damage creating a real wind down, end of the night, stumbling home drunk feel.

the dog days are well over

Everything Breakage touches at the moment turns to gold. Riverside - Gold. Paradise Circus - Even golder than the original. And now Flo and her washing machine - absolute fucking gold. The build in this is immense (trance synths all over the shop) and drops into some sublime breaksy-dubstep. Seriously, don't catch no winks on it, hit the button now. Check out a rip of Breakage's new track, Erin, here.

Florence + the Machine - Dog Days Are Over (Breakage Remix)

Jack Beats finally nabbed themselves an essential mix slot, and as you would expect, it's some big bizness from the boys. Tracklist and download after the link.

Execution

Standard Hostage track - house beat, fat bass. Added Jamaican flavour for a bit of swagger.

Hostage - Skin Out

ramalamadingdong

Big mash of genre's from North London's Ramadanman. Jungle, house, dubstep production with some spacey bass and strings make this one of the best things I've heard in 2010 so far. A bit different from my normal taste but it's still got a warm dubby feel so don't be afraid!

Delphic - Doubt (Ramadanman Refix)

gosh.

Mad Decent Blog - "Check this podcast for an in-depth conversation with Rusko, touching on subjects from his upcoming OMG album (due on Mad Decent in early May), to the origins of dubstep, to how he got started in music, to his favorite things about America, to his top songs of 2009 and more!"

HIT.

'siK.

We've posted some of Datsik's stuff before here. Personally I can't get enough of his music. I've pretty much been listening to Datsik/Excision/Flux P and nothing else for the past week. If you're a 'hardcore' dubstep fan I'd highly recommend you get these. If not all then at least the first one.

Bit rates range from 128k - 320k

Texx Mahrs (Open Your Eyes) - 12th Planet & Datsik

Crunch - Datsik & Flux Pavillion

Nuke 'em - Datsik

Southpaw (Original Mix) - Datsik

Jenova Project - Datsik - Some seriously deep stuff!

Gizmo - Datsik

Game Over (Original Mix) - Datsik & Flux Pavillion

Wicked 'siK

Cazzo

Adrenochrome

Cazzo/Adrenochrome

If you haven't already heard, up next in the Scion A/V Sampler series is none other than heavyweight dubstep label, Dub Police. Headed by Caspa and pushed forward by Trolley Snatcha, Emalkay & Leeds' own Distinction (oh and some dude called Rusko?), they've been churning out releases since I was listening to Blink 182 and putting chains on my Berny's. The album drops on 22nd Febuary, and I'm sure you all know a good list of places where you can buy it. Here's a taster of what's to come thanks to Emalkay and full tracklisting here.

Emalkay - Critical Hit
